About The Listening Guide
“Mariyon’s ability to talk to an issue is excellent… she has the ability to coalesce divergent points of view and evaluate them objectively.”
Jennifer Kitchen
The Listening Guide Consulting is directed by owner/facilitator Mariyon Slany, who has 17 years professional experience in accredited training/education in corporate, government and community environments.

An avid reader, she uses research and learning theories including group process work to enable people to take responsibility for their own learning. As an experienced therapist, Mariyon focuses on building resilience in the other’s self-perception.
Mariyon’s diversity of workplace experiences are used to inform her understanding of emotional intelligence principles along with her wide ranging education including professional trained facilitator with IAP2, DISC, Cert IV TAA, Cert IV Relationship education, Grad Cert in Education (Career Coaching) & Brain Based Leadership Coaching qualifications.
